Darlington Dairy Supply Co, Inc. was selected by the "Wisconsin Dairy Business Innovation Center" for the first annual "DBIC Innovation Zone Award" at the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin.  Darlington Dairy Supply Co, Inc. was recognized for innovation in designing and producing its modular dairy processing facility known as "Cheese on Wheels."

The DBIC team sought to recognize innovation in two categories: Method of production and style of product, explained Dan Carter, manager of the DBIC. "Darlington is changing the way to make cheese."

Rod Nilsestuen, Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer protection stated: "The future of dairy in Wisconsin is bright because of the innovation and pioneering spirit of this company...they are the true driving force behind the new products and high-tech developments that strengthen our dairy industry."

The DBIC has assisted more then 100 clients during the past year and a half with specialty dairy product development, marketing, and a host of other services.
